I accept that by registering for this event and ticking the acknowledgement box above, that:

i. Tangaroa Blue Foundation, local ReefClean coordinators and the Australian Government will not be liable for:

- any injury sustained by the participant;

- any loss or damage to property owned by, or in the possession of, the participant; or

- any act or omission, negligence or fault of any person participating in the Great Barrier Reef Clean-up events.

ii. Any member of my group that is under the age of 18 will always be supervised by their parent/guardian, and that Tangaroa Blue Foundation, ReefClean coordinators and the Australian Government are not liable for their safety.

iii. That participants must provide their own personal protection equipment that is appropriate for the activity and weather conditions, i.e. appropriate footwear and sun protection, and

As the appointed coordinator of this event;

i. I will review and complete all Safety documentation that is provided to me by the Tangaroa Blue Foundation and will clarify anything I am unsure of with the event organisers prior to my event

ii. I will ensure that all risk assessments and safety plans are completed prior to this event

iii. I will ensure that all volunteers attending this event will be provided with a Safety Briefing, complete a Volunteer Registration Form and use any applicable PPE.
