Join ReefClean’s Great Barrier Reef Clean-up (GBRCU)!
This October marks the start of our month-long series of events that focus on looking after our Reef. Tangaroa Blue Foundation, through the ReefClean Project is calling all citizen scientists, schools, community groups, local governments and ocean lovers to participate in the 2023 Great Barrier Reef Clean-up.
This will be our fifth year coordinating the GBRCU with ocean lovers from all over the GBR generously contributing over 14,211 hours of their time, resulting in the removal of over 23 tonnes of debris across the GBR!
How can you help?
Volunteer – A number of major events will be held over the course of the month for you to volunteer for, along with other events hosted by partners and community members– stay tuned for these locations.
Host your own site –Do you know of a site in your area that needs attention? Why not get a group together and host your own event! No experience needed, we provide everything you need.
ReefClean is funded by the Australian Government’s Reef Trust and delivered by Tangaroa Blue Foundation.
