Beach clean-up

Join ReefClean for a beach monitoring and marine debris collection session at Flying Fish Point in Innisfail with Conservation Volunteers Australia.

All marine debris will be analysed, and the data uploaded to the Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Database, a national marine debris Database that is used to identify the source of the debris and reduce litter in the environment.

This is a single-use plastic free event. Bring a reusable water bottle, hat, sun-smart clothing, and closed-in shoes.

No prior experience is necessary, our friendly team leaders will teach you everything that you need to know on the day.

Meet the team at midday at Ella Bay Road Beachside Park, Flying Fish Point QLD 4860, Australia. The event finishes around 4 pm but since you may be travelling some distance back to the office, please book any onward travel connections for later in the evening.

To RSVP and for more information please click here.

ReefClean is funded by the Australian Government’s Reef Trust and is delivered by the Tangaroa Blue Foundation and Conservation Volunteers Australia.
