Join ReefClean for a beach monitoring and marine debris collection session at Alva Beach Park with Conservation Volunteers Australia.
All marine debris will be analysed, and the data uploaded to the Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI) Database, a national marine debris Database that is used to identify the source of the debris and reduce litter in the environment.
This is a single-use plastic free event. Bring a reusable water bottle, hat, sun-smart
clothing, and closed-in shoes.
No prior experience is necessary, our friendly team leaders will teach you everything that you need to know on the day.
Please meet at 3 pm at 1-9 Sandowns st Alva QLD 4807. The event finishes around 4 pm but since you may be travelling some distance back to the office, please book any onward travel connections for later in the evening.
