Great Barrier Reef Clean-up – Tannum Sands Main Beach, Gladstone

Join us at Tannum Sands Main Beach, Sunday 22nd November 8:30 to 11:30 am.
We will meet at Millennium Esplanade, Tannum Sands 8:30 am for registration and safety briefing, followed by clean-up, sorting & counting for entry into the AMDI Database
There will be a display on marine debris display to educate participants on marine debris and the work of Tangaroa Blue Foundation. Team Turtle CQ will also have a display about marine turtle conservation.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring a blank t-shirt along. We will have a screen printing kit on-site and will print “ReefClean Crew” onto your shirts. The event will finish with a sausage sizzle to celebrate your good work.
All our events comply with COVID 19 restrictions current at the time of the event, so participation will depend on the travel restrictions in place at the time. We will be adhering to the latest advice from the QLD Government on COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines.
