It’s that time of the month again!
Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas is one of our longest running QLD beach monitoring sites. We have been cleaning and collecting data from this site monthly since 2009. Meet our Tangaroa Blue coordinators and volunteers at Bruno Reidwig Memorial Park at the end of Solandar Blvd, Port Douglas at 1pm.
Volunteers need to wear enclosed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of drinking water. We try to ensure that all Tangaroa Blue events are free from single-use plastic, so bring along your reusable water bottle. All equipment and drinking water top-ups will be provided.
To register or for any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for dedicating your energy towards protecting our oceans, and we look forward to seeing you out on the beach!
Tangaroa Blue would like to thank the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife for supporting these monthly beach clean-ups.
