4 Mile Beach Clean-up, Port Douglas – QLD

May 12 @ 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

Add to Calendar

Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas is one of our longest running QLD beach monitoring sites. Since 2009 we’ve been cleaning and recording data every month.

Join our Tangaroa Blue coordinators who will be meeting volunteers at Bruno Reidweg Memorial Park at the end of Solandar Blvd in Port Douglas at 8:30 am, on Sunday, May 12th to help us kick off the fifth monitoring clean-up for 2019!

All equipment will be provided, we just need volunteers to wear closed shoes, bring sun/rain protection, and plenty of drinking water (1 to 2 litres is recommended) but please avoid bringing single-use plastic water bottles 🙂

To register or for any questions, please email vanessa@tangaroablue.org.

Thank you for dedicating your energy towards protecting our oceans, and we look forward to seeing you out on the beach!
This event is being supported through the Community Sustainability and Action Grants – Queensland Government.
THANK YOU! 🙂
