Passionate volunteers joined the Meelup Regional Park Management Committee and the Tangaora Blue Foundation on Sunday to participate in some beach clean-up and data collection training.
The volunteers will be cleaning specific sites in the Meelup Regional Park in WA over the busy summer season in a response to the increased amount of debris observed on these beaches during past seasons. They will be submitting their valuable data to the Australian Marine Debris Initiative Database.
